The Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering (KazGASA) is a leading private higher education institution in Kazakhstan, specializing in architecture, design, construction, and engineering. Founded in 1980 as the Almaty Architectural and Construction Institute (AASI), it was reorganized and renamed KazGASA in 1992. The academy is located in Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city, and has an enrollment of approximately 5,000–6,000 students. KazGASA is part of the International Educational Corporation (IEC), formed in 2007 by merging KazGASA with the Kazakh-American University (KAU).
