Cardiff University Kazakhstan

Cardiff University Kazakhstan is the first overseas branch campus of Cardiff University (Wales, UK) and the only Russell Group university campus in Central Asia. The campus was officially opened in Astana in September 2025, established through a partnership between Cardiff University and the not-for-profit Public Foundation Qualified Centre of Education (QCEF). With over 140 years of academic excellence, Cardiff University is ranked 181st in the QS World University Rankings 2025 and is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of UK research-intensive universities. The Kazakhstan campus offers undergraduate degree programmes taught in English by UK-based faculty, providing students with a world-class education rooted in tradition and focused on the future.
