Международный университет информационных технологий

International Information Technology University (IITU) is a public university established in 2009 by order of the President of Kazakhstan, founded in close collaboration with iCarnegie, the educational arm of Carnegie Mellon University. Located in Almaty, IITU specializes in training a new generation of ICT specialists, with an emphasis on industry technologies, advanced management, economics, and communication skills, all delivered with deep English-language proficiency. IITU is the only university in Kazakhstan to have received ASIIN institutional international accreditation (Germany), and according to the rating of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" it has entered the TOP 3 universities of Kazakhstan, ranking 1st in fields such as Information Systems and Electronic Journalism. The university partners with over 70 universities worldwide (including Carnegie Mellon, KAIST, and several Malaysian universities) and offers double-degree and exchange programs. Today more than 5,000 students study at IITU across Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, and MBA programs, with English as the main language of instruction.
