Pre-University Preparatory Course for Ethnic Kazakhs (Kandas)The Pre-University Training Center has operated since 2002 and hosts over 100 representatives of overseas Kazakh youth annually. More than 80% of graduates go on to receive state educational grants. The preparatory course lasts 9 months and includes a monthly stipend.

CriteriaProof of ethnic Kazakh heritage (kandas/oralmans); valid passport; application to the Pre-University Training Center of Auezov University. Open to ethnic Kazakhs from Uzbekistan, China, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Mongolia and other countries.
State Educational Grant (Republic of Kazakhstan)The State Educational Grant covers full tuition for the entire study period. Awarded based on UNT scores through competitive selection within program groups. Note: grant recipients have a mandatory 3-year work obligation (отработка) in their specialty after graduation, as required by Kazakhstan law
Coverage100% tuition coverage + monthly academic stipend (~$75–85/month)
CriteriaCompetitive grant funded by the state budget. Minimum UNT score: 50 points for most programs; 75 points for pedagogical sciences; 90 points for Physical Culture and Sport. Distributed by program group based on UNT results. Pedagogical programs require an additional special exam (pass/fail). Grant recipients are obligated to work in their specialty for 3 years after graduation
