5 availableEducational grants from Asian Gas Pipeline LLP aimed at supporting talented youth and training specialists for Kazakhstan's gas industry. In 2024, 5 winners received grants to study at KBTU's School of IT and Engineering.
Thanks to KBTU Business School's affiliation with the CFA Institute, Finance students and graduates can receive scholarships (exam vouchers) to sit for the CFA exam at a reduced or waived cost.
An annual competition organized by the Kazakhstan Association of Oil, Gas and Energy Organizations (KAZENERGY) among KBTU fee-paying students. Winners receive an educational grant covering the cost of tuition.
Established in 2022 by KBTU graduates of 2006–2007 in honor of Maulen Burashev — the first President of the KBTU Student Government, a red-diploma graduate who later worked at KPMG, Halyk Finance, Visor Capital and E&Y. The scholarship is awarded for one academic semester (6 months) and paid monthly.
KBTU offers internal grants and tuition discounts to international students from CIS countries, Georgia, Ukraine, Mongolia, Pakistan, India, Turkey, Indonesia, and ethnic Kazakhs from any country. Selection is based on document review and an interview with the admissions committee.
