D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University comprises five academic schools and a Military Department offering education in architecture, construction, energy, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, geosciences, business and engineering.
School of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Energy
The school prepares specialists in architecture, civil and road construction, water supply, building materials, standardization, electric power and thermal energy through practical training and specialized laboratories.
School of Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence
The school trains specialists in information systems, software and computer engineering, artificial intelligence, automation, telecommunications, mathematical modelling and medical engineering.
School of Geosciences
The school prepares specialists in geology, mineral exploration, mining, geodesy, cartography, land management, cadastre, forestry and environmental and occupational safety.
School of Business
The school provides education in economics, management, finance, accounting, marketing and entrepreneurship, developing students’ analytical, managerial and business skills.
International School of Engineering
The school prepares engineers in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, transport, technological equipment, materials science and technical physics through laboratory work, research projects and industry placements.
Military Department
The department provides additional military training for reserve officers and sergeants, developing tactical, technical, leadership and military-patriotic competencies.
Dormitories
From $312 / yearThe university has three well-appointed dormitories, which are social infrastructure facilities part of the university and are intended for the temporary residence of students during their period of study.

880 · Available to students of all years; offers two- to four-person rooms, study and recreation areas, a fitness room and laundry facilities.
Dormitory No. 2, 3 Mendeleyev St.
150 · Available to students of all years; offers shared kitchens and showers, a computer classroom, a fitness room and recreation areas.
Dormitory No. 3, 41 Serikbayev St.
355 · Available to students of all years; offers two- to four-person rooms, study and recreation areas, a gym and laundry facilities.
