About the University
Astana IT University (AITU) is a leading educational and scientific institution in Central Asia, specializing in information technology, digital transformation, and the training of highly qualified specialists for the digital economy. Founded by the Nursultan Nazarbayev Educational Foundation, AITU’s mission is to promote the digital transformation of Kazakhstan. The university offers Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, and College programs, with the Bachelor’s program taught entirely in English. AITU features modern research laboratories, partnerships with international IT vendors such as Huawei, Cisco, and Kaspersky, and a vibrant student community with over 25 student clubs. The university is located in the EXPO Business Center in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, and holds a License for Educational Activities (No. KZ26LAA00015835, issued April 2, 2019).
